Mark your calendar with these important dates!

October 1: Prepare and Compare

Medicare Advantage and Part D Prescription Drug plans begin to market their plans for the upcoming year.

Novemer 15: Medicare Annual Election Period Begins

The first day you can apply or request to modify your Medicare Advantage and Part D Prescription Drug coverage for the upcoming year.

December 31: Medicare Annual Election Period Ends

The last day you can change your Medicare Advantage and/or Medicare Part D Prescription Drug coverage for a January 1st effective date.

March 31: Medicare Open Enrollment Period Ends

The last day* you can apply or modify your Medicare Advantage coverage for the upcoming year. (One change allowed between January 1st - March 31st)

Becoming Medicare Eligible

When you first become eligible for Medicare, you can enroll in a Medicare Health Plan 3 months BEFORE and AFTER the month you turn age 65.

Becoming Medicare Eligible due to Disability

If you are eligible for Medicare due to disability, you can join during the 3 months BEFORE and AFTER your 25th month of disability.
